Bodyscape Health and Fitness was founded, and is owned and managed by Laura Viola. Laura is a registered exercise professional with Fitness Australia (Registration 098249) having completed her Certificate III and IV in Fitness. She works as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, as well as being a registered clinical and forensic psychologist, completing her professional doctorate in 2001. After over 15 years working within the psychological field, Laura decided to pursue her passion for health and fitness and become a trainer.
Laura thrives on helping her clients meet their health, fitness and wellbeing goals, particularly those clients who might be new to fitness and want to address their motivation to change. Laura is friendly and approachable and always encourages others to work hard each session to be the best they can be.
Laura is also a mum to 3 active boys, having just had her 3rd child in 2016. She has enjoyed maintaining her fitness regime throughout her pregnancies, and therefore, understands the challenges of keeping fit whilst also being a busy mum, having also completed courses in training pre and postnatal clients.
Apart from staying active and taking on new fitness challenges like Tough Mudder and running events, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys. Laura also loves cooking up a storm and could spend hours in the kitchen if she had the time in between kids activities, work, nappy changes and family life!
